I think "etc." is the strongest.
Teak is very expensive, does not stain or paint look great.
The oak is well. Do you have enough power, not too expensive, paint or varnish is good.
Pino is not bad, but they are clear (no knots even) pieces is a big problem. With care, the stain will take, but tends to stain. It's cheap.
Alamo is well. Node tends to be free, right, staining or painting. The price is more than the pine.
The mahogany is beautiful, right, has stains or paint well. Tends to be very expensive. Cherry is similar, but not as accurate or faultless. I like working with cherry or deprive the mahogany, but I have a bank every time you start a new project to get money, too. (lol)
Oak
Maple
Live Oak is the strongest wood for its weight, black locust and walnut family followed. Mahogany and walnut are also very hard and durable. Pine is a soft wood and can be used for furniture. Teak is pleasant and is generally used for outdoor furniture because of its resistance to weathering, but can be used for the interior. You can read more brittle in dry years. Rosewood has a wood grain is beautiful and expensive.
Thats why teak is used as a seat on board ships>
Cherry ... This is not the strongest, but the machines and has a large spot and furniture of the traditional room ...
